Effective use of resources

Key initiatives for the remainder of FY 1998 and for FY 1999 are described in this section. The listing is not exhaustive, however. Given the dynamic nature of information technology, it is difficult to predict all the projects that will be done within this period or which projects may be affected by unexpected work of higher priority.

Effective use of resources
As a steward of critical Institute resources, IS works in collaborative and integrated teams with customers and I/T colleagues to ensure that those resources are effectively, equitably, and efficiently maintained and applied.
Its efforts to reduce costs and improve business processes are continuous.
