I am involved in the computer-aided design courses in my school, where I have learned AutoCAD Release 12. On my own I have taught myself AutoCAD Release 14, and I am currently working on learning the nuances of AutoDesk Mechanical Desktop 2.0. MD2 looks very promising, and dare I say it, even more fun to use than the solid modeler in R12.
I am going to post rendered images of what I have done, mainly because I am proud of the images that I have created through models in AutoCAD. The only "major" work that I have is my chess board. I soon hope to upload more images as I create more models with Mechanical Desktop. All Images were rendered with Accurender 2 or 3. Click on the pictures to enlarge them.
This is also a work in progress. It is some kind of futuristic video screen thing. A lot still needs to be done, but this is my first fun model from Mechanical Desktop 2. | ![]() |
